So, 2017 grads have graduated, its officially SUMMER, and you are coming to terms with starting the best + LAST year of your high school career. NOW WHAT? YOU BOOK YOUR SENIOR PORTRAITS OF COURSE.
But isn’t it too early? Since you are officially a senior I say heck to the no! Senior year is filled with college visits, sports, finals, dances, and your weekends will be packed with activities typically. I know you have probably heard me say it before but summer is one of the BEST times to take senior portraits. Aside from the short (and busy) spring being my favorite time to take portraits, but second favorite is summer.
One. I LOVE the light. It’s what dreams were made of. Two. The days are longer which means we typically get in more shoot time. I shoot 90% of my sessions in the shade so it never gets too hot. Also, we are typically not as busy with school activities in the summer. You will be one of the first of your friends to have their senior portraits taken. While I am booking into fall, my August and September dates are booking (so if you want a fall date now is a good time to reserve that).
If you are interested in booking this summer read about our promotions —->>>>

End of July/first week of August is perfect for sunflower fields
Mid July is great if you want to incorporate the fair into your senior session
June + July are typically great for longer grass (before it all gets cut)
Summer in general is also great for yummy light + longer days
